Meet the Team Behind United Pre-School

The first day of school is a big moment. For your child, walking into a new place with new faces takes real courage. What makes that moment easier is knowing that the people waiting on the other side genuinely care.

At United Pre-School, one of the most trusted preschools in the Kathmandu Valley, every person on our team is here because they love working with young children. Our teachers are trained in early childhood education and chosen not just for what they know but for how they connect with children. They are patient, warm, and genuinely invested in every child who walks through our doors.

We keep our classrooms small on purpose. A low student to teacher ratio means your child gets real attention, not just a seat in a room. Whether your child is naturally confident or takes a little time to open up, our team knows how to meet them exactly where they are.

Beyond the classroom, our support staff makes sure the school stays safe, clean, and welcoming every single day. From the moment your child arrives in the morning to the moment they leave, there is always a familiar, caring face nearby.

United Pre-School is part of the United Academy Group, which has been building quality education across Kathmandu and Lalitpur since 1997. That means our team works within an institution that values continuous learning, strong values, and professional growth. Our teachers do not just teach. They keep growing too.

Programs Designed for Every Stage of Early Childhood

Our team works across all four of our early childhood programs, and each program brings its own energy, its own pace, and its own kind of magic.

The teachers who run our Play group for children from eighteen months onward are especially gentle and patient. They understand that for a toddler, leaving home for the first time is a huge deal. Their job is not just teaching. It is making a child feel safe enough to want to come back the next day.

Our Nursery teachers work with children from age three and bring a balance of warmth and structured guidance. At this stage children are curious about everything and our teachers channel that energy into early reading readiness, creative activities, and building confidence through play.

In Junior Kindergarten, our teachers begin introducing more focused learning including phonics, early writing, and numbers. But they do it in a way that still feels joyful. There is always room for drama, music, and hands on exploration in a Junior KG classroom at United Pre-School.

By Senior Kindergarten, children are nearly ready for Grade One. The teachers at this level take pride in sending children forward who are not just academically prepared but socially confident, emotionally grounded, and genuinely excited about what comes next.

Every teacher across every program shares the same belief. That the early years matter more than most people realize, and that getting them right is one of the most important things they will ever do.
